DETROIT — Michigan reported 4,273 new cases of COVID-19 and 73 new deaths Wednesday, according to an update from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.
The state now has 8,761 confirmed deaths and 324,779 confirmed cases since March.
Michigan had a positivity rate of 13.42% Tuesday, reporting that 8,087 out of 60,252 diagnostic test results returned were positive.
Michigan has a fatality rate of 2.7% among known cases.
The state has reported 409 probable COVID-19 deaths and 27,654 probable cases.
The probable cases combined with the confirmed cases make for a cumulative total of 9,170 deaths and 352,433 cases.
The state announced data will not be released or updated on Thursday because of the Thanksgiving holiday.
