Michigan man, 22, dies after being impaled by stick in dirt bike crash

A Manistee, Mich., man died after his head was impaled by a stick following a dirt bike crash Saturday in Peacock Township in northern Michigan.

According to a Facebook post from Lake County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the crash at 10:23 p.m. near South Jenks Road and West Centerline Road, finding 22-year-old Dacota Fredrick Rowe seriously injured

Rowe was taken to a hospital, where he died. He was wearing a helmet with a face shield. It is unknown if alcohol was a factor.
