Michigan football loses third recruit in two days: Jalil Irvin

Michigan has lost another one.

Jalil Irvin, a 2018 offensive line commit, announced his decommitment Tuesday from U-M. He is the third decommit in the past two days, following 2018 defensive tackle Leonard Taylor and 2017 defensive lineman Aubrey Solomon on Monday.

Irvin grew up in Detroit but now is in Stone Mountain, Ga., attending Stephenson High School, where he will be a junior this fall.

He's the No. 12-ranked offensive guard in the 2018 class, according to 247Sports. He committed to U-M in June, shortly after a satellite camp in Atlanta.

Irvin said U-M remains among his top five choices and still is his "dream school."
