Michelle Williams, 'All the Money in the World' star, calls Kevin Spacey's replacement 'a message to predators'

Michelle Williams didn't mince words after breaking her silence on her "All the Money in the World" co-star Kevin Spacey.

Spacey was cut from the Ridley Scott movie and replaced by Christopher Plummer after more than a dozen accusations of sexual misconduct.

"I'm so very proud to be a part of this _ we're all here for Ridley," Williams told Entertainment Weekly.

"When this idea was hatched, I immediately started to feel better. This doesn't do anything to ease the suffering of people who were all too personally affected by Kevin Spacey, but it is our little act of trying to right a wrong. And it sends a message to predators _ you can't get away with this anymore. Something will be done."

Scott said he didn't question replacing Spacey after the allegations, which began with Anthony Rapp.

"You can't tolerate any kind of behavior like that. And it will affect the film," he told EW.

"We cannot let one person's action affect the good work of all these other people. It's that simple."

"All the Money in the World" is still scheduled for its original Dec. 22 release, but a rough version is expected to be screened in New York by members of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, barely beating the voting deadline for Golden Globes consideration, according to Variety.
