Michelle Obama was back in London on Sunday evening for her extended Becoming book tour.
Following stops in Copenhagen, Stockholm and Oslo, where the former First Lady exuded fashion diplomacy wearing an array of embellished power suits by Scandinavian brands, the 55-year-old gave the smart two-set a break, as she took to the stage at the 02 wearing a custom all-in-one by British designer Stella McCartney.
The chic black jumpsuit featured a flattering silhouette made up of an elasticated waistband, bardot neckline and statement 3/4 sleeves, which were heavily embellished in gold beading to match the neckline.
The ensemble was accessorised with matching black patent Jimmy Choo heels, as well as contemporary oversized £607 10k gold hoop earrings by Jennifer Fisher and stacked gold rings to match the outfit's metallic details.
The former FLOTUS also showcased a statement manicure, with her elongated nails sporting a trendy lime green shade to offset the classic black look.
Sunday night was Obama's second time in London on her Becoming book tour. The first, in December 2018, also saw her pay tribute to the UK through her wardrobe as she opted for a white wide-leg jumpsuit by Emilia Wickstead.
With several stops left on her worldwide tour, including Paris, Amsterdam, Toronto and Nashville, we're sure Obama will continue to delight and surprise by mixing timeless silhouettes with modern details and the odd quirky accessory.
