Michelle Obama has branded Donald Trump's actions 'racist' in a campaign message.
And she urged Americans not to "waste their vote" on a protest candidate - an apparent reference to Kanye West's run for the White House.
The former First Lady accused the President and his allies of "stoking fears about Black and Brown Americans" in order to win an election.
Right now, the President and his allies are trying to tap into that frustration and distract from his breathtaking failures by giving folks someone to blame other than them," she said.
"They're stoking fears about Black and Brown Americans, lying about how minorities will destroy the suburbs, whipping up violence and intimidation, and they're pinning it all on what's been an overwhelmingly peaceful movement for racial solidarity."
She added: "So what the President is doing is, once again, patently false.
"It's morally wrong and yes, it is racist. But that doesn't mean it won't work."
She urged American people of colour to vote for Joe Biden "like your lives depend on it" - and slammed Trump for his "wilful mismanagement of the Covid crisis."
This morning, Trump falsely claimed the coronavirus is "less deadly" than seasonal flu, which kills a fraction of the people every year as Covid-19 has since February.
"Seven months later, he still won't wear a mask consistently and encourage others to do the same, even when those simple actions could save countless lives," she said.
"Instead, he continues to gaslight the American people by acting like this pandemic is not a real threat."
