Michelle Mone's husband Doug Barrowman tries to cook pizza on fire pit with disastrous results

Michelle Mone's husband Doug Barrowman tried to cook pizza on their fire pit at home - with disastrous results.

Ultimo founder Michelle and her billionaire businessman hubby Doug, who she married in November last year, normally have a chef as who cooks food for them.

The couple live in a £25 million mansion on the Isle of Man.

With the chef having the night off, Baroness Michelle took to Instagram to document their attempts at making a pizza.

She says: "Right, now Doug has got an idea of cooking a pizza on this firepit. I think that's a bad idea."

Michelle then shows off her flaming firepit and the results of Doug's innovative, but possibly not the smartest, idea.

Filming the pizza being cooked on top of the fire pit's grill, Doug jokes: "Chef Luigi. He loves this pizza."

Michelle then turned over the pizza and showed off the very blackened side of the cheese and tomato delight.

She said: "So that's his pizza. You actually going to eat that as well?"

Doug then tucked into the blackened pizza.

Doug's creation didn't look appetising and it could be argued that the charcoal burnt base is bad for your health with possible carcinogens.

Some believe activated charcoal pizza detoxes the body, helps with digestion, clears out the toxins, and lowers the cholesterol.

Either way, we'll pass.
