Michelle McManus gives birth to beautiful baby boy

Singer Michelle McManus has announced the birth of her beautiful baby boy.

Harry John Nimmo was born last month - her first baby with husband Jeff.

The Pop Idol star, 39, revealed she gave birth in January to her thousands of fans on social media.

The new mum is overjoyed with her bundle of joy, writing on Instagram: "Last month we welcomed our beautiful son Harry John Nimmo into the world.

"Never could I have imagined this feeling of utter joy and overwhelming love for my little boy. My heart is literally bursting with happiness. We love you so much Harry."

The Scot only announced her pregnancy in December with a cute Christmas post, saying baby Nimmo would be born in 'early 2020'.

Their announcement came two years after the happy couple tied the knot in a beautiful wedding ceremony in the Scottish Highlands.

Wearing an empire-line bridal dress that featured full-length billowing sleeves, Michelle beamed in front of her friends and family as she clutched a colourful bouquet of roses.

Michelle won ITV contest Pop Idol back in 2003, when she was 23 years old.

Her victory took Michelle by such surprise that she doubled over in shock and burst into tears.

After winning the show, Michelle released her debut album The Meaning Of Love.
