Michelle Keegan is a household name after appearing in some of Britain's favourite TV shows including Our Girl and Coronation Street.
However, the star went from working at a make-up counter when she finished school to a successful actress with what seems like a dream life.
The 34 year old has landed brand deals as well as getting married to a former TOWIE favourite while juggling her career.
The Stockport star didn't have plans when she first left school but seems to have found her feet when it comes to success.
It is estimated that Michelle is worth £2.7m down to the success of her career.
But how exactly did Michelle end up where she is today?


Where did Michelle grow up?
Michelle was born in Stockport in 1987 to her parents Michael Keegan and Jackie Turner and has a younger brother named Andrew.
She has a varied background as maternal great-grandmother was from Gibraltar who then married a British soldier stationed in the country at the time.
The star also Irish ancestry on her father's side of the family as well as has Italian from her seven times great-grandfather who emigrated to Gibraltar from Genoa.


Michelle went to St Patrick's RC High School in Eccles near Manchester before going to the Manchester School of Acting where Suranne Jones also studied.
Michelle's first jobs included working at Selfridges in the Trafford Centre on a make-up counter and at Manchester Airport as a check-in agent.
When did Michelle's acting career begin?
Michelle first acting appearance was on Coronation Street when she was offered the role of Tina McIntyre after just her second audition as an actress.
The talented actress beat 900 other people to the role on the soap.
Just two weeks later she stepped onto the cobbles and began her career.


The character of Tina was killed off from the show in 2013 after six years when Michelle decided she wanted to leave with her last appearance on 2nd June 2014.
During her time in the soap Michelle moved into radio for her next career step as she started hosting BBC Radio 1's Official Chart show in 2009.
2015 marked another big year for her acting career as she got a role in the BBC's drama Ordinary Lies.
That same year, Michelle announced her biggest role to date as she landed a part in Our Girl playing Corporal Georgie Lane which aired in 2016.
She went on to act in the following two series after this in 2017 and 2020.
In the three part series Tina and Bobby, Michelle took on the role of Tina which depicted Tina Dean's and Bobby Moore's relationship.
Brassic is Michelle's current project which she has been focusing on since it began airing in 2019.
She portrays the main role of Erin Croft in Sky One's comedy drama series.
The star has also taken on jobs away from acting in the past few years as she had her own collection with Lipsy as well as Very.
Personal life
Michelle is happily married to fellow celeb Mark Wright.
The pair tied the knot back in May 2015 after getting engaged in 2013 following nine months of dating.
They got married at St Mary's Church in Bury St Edmonds before finishing the celebrations at Hengrave Hall in Suffolk, in a marquee within the picturesque grounds.


The star wore a Galia Lahav gown featuring a dramatic low back and a fishtail train.
Michelle recently opened up about her last name as she tend to be referred to as Michelle Keegan when acting.
However, she revealed that she is legally Michelle Wright but is used to saying Keegan when working.
Mark and Michelle are currently in the midst of building their dream home together in Essex.

They knocked down an old cottage that was on the land beforehand but the new build seems to be taking shape with the structure almost completed.
The mansion will feature a swimming pool as well as floor to ceiling windows with views across the countryside.
Before dating Mark, Michelle had another serious relationship with The Wanted musician Max George.
The pair became engaged in 2011 but ended their relationship the following year.
