Michelle Keegan reveals that Our Girl returns in less than two weeks

BBC One drama Our Girl is back on our screens this month as leading lady Michelle Keegan announces a date for its return.

The stunning brunette will return to our screens on Tuesday, March 24, for the fourth season as Georgie Lane and it is expected to be her last.

The BBC drama stars the former Coronation Street star as the army medic with previous series being set in Nepal, Bangladesh, Nigeria and Kenya, season four will see Georgie go back to Afghanistan.

There is expected to be six episodes in the new season.

And despite the show receiving huge criticism online from army officials in the past, Michelle's post received over 20,000 likes in less than 20 minutes.

Many commented on the news expressing their delight.

One said: "Can not wait!"

While another added: "Can't wait, love this programme!"

And one wrote: "She's back!!!!"

The gripping drama has developed quite the following over the years as before Michelle took over the reigns, EastEnders' star Lacey Turner played main character Private Molly Dawes in the first two seasons.

Rumour has it that Queen of the Jungle and former EastEnders' actress Jacqueline Jossa could be taking over for the fifth season however there is no confirmation on this.
