Michelle Keegan has revealed what it's like filming sex scenes for the new comedy drama Brassic.
On her first day working on the Danny Brocklehurst series, set in Lancashire, the former Coronation Street actress filmed a saucy scene in a chemical toilet with Damien Molony who plays her on screen boyfriend Dylan.
Michelle, who has previously appeared in steamy scenes in the BBC drama Our Girl, says there was nothing sexy about the portaloo romp.
"It was the first day," she laughed.
"On the first day it was like 'nice to meet you, get in the portaloo' and I was like 'okay.'"
"It was the first day, we just shook hands and said 'hi'", said Damien.
The pair said the crew actually felt more awkward than them while filming the scene, with the help of a member of the art department rocking the toilet from side to side.

Michelle, 32, who plays Erin in the drama about a group of friends causing mischief, told us: "They're awkward with it. We're not awkward with it because it has to be done.
"It's literally the unmost sexiest thing ever. As soon as it's done it's like 'what are you having for your dinner tonight?'
"It goes back to normal life like very, very quickly. It was done, it was very quick."
She added: "It's a good ice breaker though isn't it?"

The Irlam actress, who played tragic barmaid and babysitter Tina McIntyre in Corrie and plays Stockport Lance Corporal Georgie Lane in army series Our Girl, is excited to be branching into comedy in the series created by Shameless and Ordinary Lies writer Danny and This Is England actor Joe Gilgun.
"As soon as I got these scripts I laughed out loud," she said.
"I knew straight away it was going to be special and I just wanted to be a part of it. And I'm not just saying it, I loved every second."
On returning to her northern roots after filming in South Africa for Our Girl, which returns for a fourth series next year, she said: "I'm very proud to be northern.
"Starting out on Coronation Street it was a huge northern show because I'd been working away for so long it was great to come back to my northern roots and to do a show like this I was really excited about it."
Brassic launches on Sky One and will be available to stream on Sky Q, Sky Go and Now TV on Thursday.
