Michelle Keegan looks totally unrecognisable dressed as Cheryl in epic throwback

Michelle Keegan was completely unrecognisable in an epic fancy dress throwback snap.

Marking her best pal's birthday on her Instagram Stories, Michelle shared a string of photos of the two of them from over the years.

And in one, the two of them took inspiration from Cheryl's 2010 video for Fight For This Love, rocking a red military uniform and Aviator sunglasses.

"Happy Birthday lockdown beaut @roisinshinny," Corrie's Michelle wrote.

"Can't wait for us all to be out celebrating together... But until then I'll be sending birthday wishes from my sofa, brew in hand.

"Love you mate."

Michelle's brew will come as a welcome treat for the actress after revealing she'd ditched her effort at Dry January eight days into the new year.

Meanwhile, her husband Mark Wright has been opening up about his family's Covid battle.

Sister Jess previously told that the bug had "ripped through our family like wildfire", and Mark took to his Heart Radio show to urge listeners to stick to lockdown rules.

"My father was suffering in hospital and we worried for his life for two weeks, he's now home, he's not completely better, he knows that and we know it," emotional Mark shared.

"My other uncle is in hospital right now, receiving oxygen, and their other brother, my uncle Eddie who I love dearly is currently in a coma in the ICU."

He added: "I want my life back. I want my family to be well again. I don't want my family to have to worry anymore. I don't want you to worry anymore.

Mark pleaded with listeners to stick to lockdown rules (@thisisheart/Twitter)

"If you want to get your life back, the only way this will happen is if we obey by the government rules.

"Now last time when this happened, last year's lockdown, I saw such a difference."

Mark went on: "Do you want to see your family members go through what I'm seeing right now?

"I understand if it hasn't affected your family like it has affected mine, bloodlines are different, I don't know the science of it, but what I do know is that my father, my dad was suffering in hospital and we worried for his life for two weeks, he's now home, he's not completely better, he knows that and we know it."
