Michelle Keegan fumes over Mark Wright's dirty pants and admits he gets on her nerves

Michelle Keegan says she has been driven up the wall by husband Mark Wright as he repeatedly leaves his dirty underwear lying around their house.

The 33-year-old actress has been married to reality star Mark since 2015 – although it is only now that the pair are now spending more time together than ever before thanks to lockdown.

Former Coronation Street star Michelle says she has been infuriated by 33-year-old hubby Mark leaving his filthy pants scattered around their Essex mansion.

However, the actress says she point blank refuses to pick up after her untidy husband – and passive aggressively waits for him to clean up after himself.

She fumed to the Brassic podcast: “When he leaves his pants on the floor, I won’t move them.

“They can stay there for a few days at a time — until he works out that they need to be picked up.”

Michelle has been kept away from the UK in recent years due to her work on the hit BBC drama Our Girl, while Mark spent the past couple of years mostly in Hollywood during his short-lived stint as a TV host on Extra.

Now the pair are both back in the UK, they are finding they are spending plenty of time together in lockdown, and Michelle admits it has been a challenge.

“Being away for long periods is tough but it’s part of the jobs we do. We knew what it was all about when we first got together.

“But it doesn’t take long when we get back together that we start getting on each other’s nerves again.”

Meanwhile, Michelle recently described herself as “a bit of rough” compared to impeccably groomed husband Mark.

She told Brassic podcast: “I’d definitely say I am the bit of rough. I’d like to say a bit of posh totty but I’m not!

“When I tell my husband stories of how I’ve grown up, he can’t relate to it.

“I like it though, yeah, it’s a badge of honour. You’re from Up North, you’ve got to be a tiny bit rough round the edges. That’s the charm!”
