Michelle Keegan cosies up to Mark Wright and the family on Christmas night out

Michelle Keegan cosied up to her husband Mark Wright as they joined his family for a Christmas night out.

The former Coronation Street star was beaming a huge smile as she had some festive fun with her in-laws.

Ex-TOWIE star Mark kept a tight hold on his glamorous wife, dipping his hand in her coat pocket, as the family posed up together.

The snap was shared online by Mark's sister Jess, who said: "Merry Christmas from the Wrights"

Michelle was winter chic in a long grey coat and wide-brimmed hat, while Mark was wrapped up in a jumper and his own grey coat.

They posed up with Mark's mum Carol and dad Mark Snr, as well as Jess, their brother Josh and his wife Hollie.

The family are all back together for Christmas after Mark moved back home from the States, where he'd been working on TV show EXTRA in Los Angeles.

Mark recently opened up about his concerns around spending Christmas with Michelle's family.

The presenter says he has never forgotten facing the wrath of his wife and her mother when he took her stepdad out for pints on Christmas Eve a few years ago.

He said: "This year we are having all of them and this is why I'm scared - because when it happened a couple of years ago with just two of them, we broke the family tradition and it was my fault."

Mark was in big trouble as the Keegan clan always spend Xmas Eve curled up on the sofa in their PJs pigging out on sausage rolls, prawns and chicken nuggets.

At the time, it had seemed like a good idea to him to take his wife's step dad down the boozer.

But he recalled how his wife was "livid" when they strolled through the front door late that night.

He said: "We walked in, faces like thunder, food was cold. And I mean they were livid.

"There was no coming back, I was like ‘oh no I’ve ruined their family tradition’ her stepdad’s never been in trouble on Christmas Eve.

"But I also love Christmas Eve so much with the drinks that I’m not gonna refuse going down the pub this year."
