Michelle Keegan shared a sweet video of her cousin's son as the pair visited an amusement park.
The Brassic star, 34, showed 15-month-old Brody how to use the claw machine, but it didn't go quite to plan.
The tot, who is a huge fan of Toy Story, burst into tears whenever the claw moved to grab a toy.
"Brody is obsessed with Toy Story so we thought he'd like 'The claaaaw," Michelle said, making a reference to the claw machine which is home to the three-eyed-aliens in the classic Pixar film.
In the next story on her Instagram, she added: "...backfired".

Michelle looked shocked as the youngster screamed at the glass box, covering her mouth as she looked at the camera.
The actress has recently expressed her annoyance with constantly being quizzed over when she's going to have a child.
In an interview with Women's Health magazine she blasted society's double standards when it came to asking men and women about having children.
She said that she is constantly asked about children, but her partner Mark Wright, 34, isn't.
"I do think it's different for a woman. It shouldn't be, but it is," she said.

"I get asked about children whereas Mark wouldn't, for example.
"Why haven't I had a child? When am I going to have a child? I don't know what they want me to say. I don't know what the right or wrong answer is."
She said that she likes to keep her relationship with her husband Mark Wright private.
"A lot of things in my life are out of my control, but one thing I do have control over is my social media and I like to try and keep some memories private...

"Over the years we've opened ourselves up to a lot of criticism, so it's nice to have something just for us. I don't want to feed the stories anymore..."
She shared a snap in October of her cuddling a little one and one fan presumed: "Won't be long now until you're a mummy."
The comment struck a chord with fans, with one jumping to Michelle's defence: "Please dont make comments like this to women. Firstly, not all women want kids so stop presuming that they do. People need to stop commenting to women about having children."
Another wrote: "Because all women want children. It’s what we were born to do right?!"

Michelle and her fellow cast members have been forced to wait again after the fourth series of Brassic was put on hold after a Covid outbreak.
The cast of the Sky TV show were hoping to film for a week at a pub in Manchester but the virus put a stop to that.
A source said: “Covid has been a nightmare for Brassic and just when they thought things were calming down, it’s started up again.
“Everyone was being super careful because of the new variant but there’s been another outbreak."
“Michelle and the other well-known cast members are believed to be well.”
