Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright spark baby plans by adding live in nanny flat to £1.3million home

Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan are adding a granny flat to their new home amid rumours they're planning to start a family.

The couple, who have been married since 2015, have submitted plans to Epping Forest District Council for permission to knock down horse stables for a 'one bedroom annex' in their £1.3million Essex home.

They bought the home back in October and have already been given permission to demolish the existing property and turn it into their dream home, The Sun reports.

And last month plans to construct a two storey "family home" with a loft conversion were approved.

The property has a TV room, gym, bar area, study and playroom, as well as a swimming pool.

Plans for their new home will spark even more rumours that the couple are planning to start a family.

The granny flat could be the perfect space for a live-in nanny.

Mirror Online has contacted reps for Michelle and Mark for comment.

Last year Michelle admitted her mum was putting pressure on her to have children.

When she was asked about the topic on the Jonathan Ross Show, she said: "Not yet. Everyone always asks that question! Don't get me wrong, I'm not getting any younger."

Michelle added: "My mum is on it as well. No plans yet, but we definitely do want children in the future."

The pair spent much of the early years of their marriage apart as they focused on their own careers.

Mark worked as a TV presenter in LA while Michelle was jetting across the world filming Our Girl.

The pair are now back together as they isolate together in their new Essex home amid the coronavirus lockdown.
