Michelle Heaton has shared dramatic before and after pics to highlight the progress she's made since going to rehab last year to get sober.
The mum-of-two, 42, has been open about her struggle with drug and alcohol addiction and shocked fans with a photo of her taken the day she sought help at The Priory in 2021.
In the snap Michelle's face and tummy look bloated, which she says were swollen from a "failing liver".
In the second picture taken today, Michelle looks fresh-faced, toned and like she's living her best life.
The star captioned the post: "So.. 2021 for me was a whole load of different things. But it turned out to be the best year of my life - a life beyond my wildest dreams.
"And with that me & @hughhanley are working on helping others change their habits and lifestyle starting in the coming months so look out for our news!
"But, today, Not only am I grateful for achieving 8 months sobriety, but my body, mind and soul has been replenished with love. I had to learn to love myself to become well again!
"The first photo was taken the first day I went into the @priorygroup 27th April 2021. - scared - alone - no hope - grey & swollen from a failing liver & pancreas I wanted to document my journey for myself and now I'm ready to show what the body can do with hard work and a clear mind.
"The other is right now (took me ages to fish out similar knickers god knows where my sports bra is) - happy - self loved and self care - filled with hope - energy, ambition and healthy."
Michelle told fans 'anything is possible if you work for it', stating she'd made no New Year's resolutions because 'all she needed was her health'.
The much-loved singer confessed that at one point, she had been consuming as much as a bottle bottle of vodka, lines of cocaine and two bottles of a wine daily since 2018.
Michelle gave up drinking eight months ago after her drug and alcohol addiction left her "close to death".
The star previously revealed she did not go for a day without alcohol for three years before she checked into rehab.
Revealing that admitting she had a problem was the toughest part of her sobriety, Michelle told Loose Women in September: "It's the first step and its the hardest to admit you have a problem and that you're powerless to drugs and alcohol.
She said it wasn't a 'specific event' that made her go to rehab, but she ended up "locked away by herself, lying and manipulating situations".
"I became very very ill, it was a five year process," Michelle admitted.
"About three years it got a bit of a hold on me, I was happy in my addiction."
