Michaela Strachan leaves viewers gobsmacked with All Star Musicals tap dance routine

Michaela Strachan left viewers open-mouthed as she performed on All Star Musicals on Sunday evening.

The 55-year-old TV presenter looked incredible as she took to the stage in a gold flapper dress to perform a routine from 42nd Street.

Michaela was flanked by several male dancers dressed in white as she tap-danced in a pair of gold dancing shoes.

The mother-of-one admitted that she hadn't tapped in 37 years, but very much enjoyed doing it again in front of a live audience.

A different viewer tweeted: "She was actually really good. More so for the dancing than the singing, but still... #AllStarMusicals."

These days, Michaela is best-known for presenting Springwatch and Autumnwatch but she actually used to perform in the theatre and appeared in the musical Seven Brides for Seven Brothers back in Blackpool back in 1984.

In 1988, she hosted Boogie Box on music channel Music Box and from 1988 until 1992, Michaela starred as "Her" in the nightclub-set music show The Hitman and Her alongside Pete Waterman.
