New Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas made earning respect his mission in 2018, and he accomplished that. Pro Football Focus lauded the Saints playmaker, putting him at 6 in their listing of the Top 101 Players of 2018. Here’s what they had to say:
Thomas continued his emergence as one of the best wideouts in the league with his best season to date. His overall grade of 91.6 was second to only DeAndre Hopkins this year, and his WR rating of 124.0 was ninth-best.
It’s certainly impressive, and as noted in the blurb, only Houston Texans star DeAndre Hopkins ranked higher than Thomas. Hopkins and Thomas were also each chosen for the 2018 AP All-Pro first team, the only wide receivers to do so.
