Michael Thomas featured in ESPN The Magazine’s 2019 ‘Body Issue’

It’s been a good summer for New Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas. Not only did he spend a few weeks vacationing in the Mediterranean and sign a five-year, $100 million contract extension, he also landed a featured spot in ESPN The Magazine’s 2019 “Body Issue.” This annual release highlights the variety of physiques among professional athletes from a range of sports.

Thomas will be joined by other NFL players, including Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett and five Philadelphia Eagles offensive linemen: Brandon Brooks, Lane Johnson, Jason Kelce, Isaac Seumalo and Halapoulivaati Vaitai. Previous issues in the special’s 10-year run have featured NFL stars like former New England Patriots nose tackle Vince Wilfork as well as Seattle Seahawks and Oakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch. Thomas will be the first Saints player to feature in the series since its inception.

The “Body Issue” will hit newsstands on Sept. 6, but fans can check out a photo gallery on ESPN.com when it launches on Sept. 4.
