Michael Strahan gives Giants jersey to Jon Runyan on ‘Good Morning America’

It’s no secret that Hall of Famer Michael Strahan is still emotionally attached to the team he spent his entire 15-year career with. Although he has moved on to find massive success in his television career, Strahan is still connected to the New York Giants and often predicts the Giants to win when the season is in full swing.

On Thursday, Strahan and ABC’s “Good Morning America” took to the road to do their show from Philadelphia, which is, of course, the home of the rival Eagles.

Former Eagles offensive lineman Jon Runyan was a guest along with the Eagles mascot.

In a segment where the cast and Runyan were talking about the Eagles, each of them holding rival jerseys, Strahan pulled out a jersey of his own to give to Runyan. It was Strahan’s No. 92, but it had Runyan’s name on the back

It’s a little painful to see No. 92 holding up Eagles green, but we all know where his allegiance really is. Strahan is one of the biggest names in Giants history and retired after winning Super Bowl XLII.

While talking to Runyan, Strahan mentioned that Philadelphia was his favorite place to play and that Runyan was one of the toughest opponents he went up against.

The Eagles couldn’t help but have a little fun with the encounter.

Strahan will always be a big part of the Giants’ organization as he was there for his entire career and helped Big Blue secure the biggest upset in Super Bowl history.
