Red Bulls Salzburg's ability to find the net will be a problem for Liverpool who need to avoid defeat in Austria to progress from their Champions League group.
That is according to former Red Michael Owen who saw his former side held by Napoli on Wednesday night.
Liverpool's final game is against Erling Haaland and Salzburg, who scored three at Anfield earlier this year, and can knock the European champions out with a win.
Owen has backed Jurgen Klopp's side to get the job done, but admits the scenario is far from ideal for the German.
"It's not going to be easy going to Salzburg, they score goals," he said on BT Sport.
"But at least they've got two results where they can get a draw or a win to qualify. It's not ideal for Liverpool, I'm sure they would've liked to have sewn it up tonight.
"Klopp would have liked to have rested some players for that Salzburg, but he can't do that now."
The Austrians put four past Genk to leave them on seven points from their five games.
But they a newcomers to the European scene which could prove their undoing and Rio Ferdinand, who won the Champions League in 2008, thinks Liverpool's experience will tell.
"It's going to be a tough test," claimed the former Manchester United defender.
"The young lad that's scoring loads of goals up front [Haaland], they've come here and scored, they can score goals but I just think the experience Liverpool have. they will be able to get the result there and get through."
Liverpool have struggled on the road in Europe having lost four times away from Anfield en route to lifting the trophy last season.
Napoli, PSG, Red Star Belgrade and Barcelona all beat Klopp's side last term with the Italians doing so again earlier this year.
