Michael Owen feels his old club Liverpool will have no problems seeing off Arsenal for the second time in a week as the sides meet in the Carabao Cup last-16 on Thursday.
The Reds won Monday's Premier League encounter in a comfortable 3-1 scoreline but Jurgen Klopp is expected to ring the changes for the cup clash.
Last season both teams played out a fascinating 5-5 draw in the same stage of the competition, with Liverpool eventually progressing on penalties.
And while Owen predicts another close contest at Anfield, he feels the hosts will have too much for Mikel Arteta's men.
Owen told BetVictor : "These two face-off for the second time in a week.
"Liverpool were the winners in an enthralling encounter at Anfield on Monday and I think we could see more of the same here.
"Arsenal caused Liverpool a few problems, but the Champions were just too good on the night.
"Both sides should look different in terms of their starting elevens, and although I can could see Arsenal going close, I think the Reds will edge it."
Klopp is expected to hand starts to the likes of youngsters Curtis Jones and Neco Williams, as well as new signing Diogo Jota.
Arsenal meanwhile could bring defensive new boy Gabriel Magalhaes back into the fold after leaving him on the bench on Monday, while no.2 goalkeeper Runar Alex Runarsson could make his debut.

Elsewhere in the competition, Owen fancies another of his former clubs Man Utd to eliminate Brighton in another repeat fixture, having beaten the Seagulls 3-2 at the weekend.
He also foresees Newcastle to go through in an almost clean sweep of his old employers, with Stoke the only casualties of his football CV, as he tips Aston Villa to knock them out by a single goal.
There are predicted wins too for Everton and Man City, but Fulham's misery could be set to continue as their playoff final opponents Brentford are backed to enact revenge.
