Michael Owen claims that Arsenal have found two players who could be the next Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The former Liverpool and Manchester United striker has singled out two of the club's up and coming players who could follow in the footsteps of the Arsenal striker.
Aubameyang has been linked with an exit from the Emirates during the summer transfer window, with his contract at the club set to expire at the end of next season.
Barcelona and Manchester United are among the teams who have been linked with the 30-year-old striker.
But Owen insists that Arsenal should not worry about the forward's potential exit this summer, though the coronavirus impact on the Premier League may alter the upcoming transfer window.
Owen, instead, feels that there are two players ready to step out of the shadow of Aubameyang.
"I think Arsenal have got a nice little thing going under Mikel Arteta," Owen told Premier League Productions.
"They’ve got a nice blend as well. They’re bringing a few young players through, (Eddie) Nketiah, (Gabriel) Martinelli scoring goals as well.
"You never know, one of those two lads up front could turn into proper players and be like him [Aubameyang], scoring 20-plus goals a season and they’re worth their weight in gold.
"If you can unearth one of those from your academy, it’s a massive bonus."
