Manchester United will be looking to build on Tuesday evening's morale-boosting victory over Villarreal when they travel to Stamford Bridge to face league leaders Chelsea on Sunday afternoon.
United, who are unbeaten in their last seven Premier League meetings with the Blues, will be looking to build on the momentum and confidence earned from the midweek victory in Spain, which saw the Reds run out 2-0 winners, courtesy of goals from Cristiano Ronaldo and Jadon Sancho.
It was the perfect start to the post-Ole Gunnar Solskjaer era, with caretaker boss Michael Carrick overseeing a much-needed victory.
Now, Carrick, who is set to be replaced by soon-to-be new interim manager Ralf Rangnick, has the challenge of trying to arrest the Reds' two-game losing run in the league, as well as trying to become just the second manager to have beaten Chelsea in the league this season.
It promises to be a stern test for United and one that will require a much better performance than the ones they have produced against the likes of Liverpool, Manchester City and Watford in recent weeks.
But how do the pundits think United will get on against Thomas Tuchel's side?
Dimitar Berbatov - Metro
"Because I used to play for the team, it’s difficult to go against them, but it’s been a very tough week for United and it’s a big ask going to Stamford Bridge off the back of what has happened," Berbatov told the Metro.
"Chelsea have been unbelievable in the last couple of weeks in both Premier League and in that record-breaking win over Juventus in the Champions League this week. They are on a great winning streak and in great form so I have to go with Chelsea."
Prediction : Chelsea 2-1 United.
Paul Merson - Sportskeeda
"I can’t see anything but a Chelsea win here," Merson told Sportskeeda. "They’ll squeeze and dominate the game, and they’ll probably have about 70 per cent of the ball.
"Manchester United will set up with Ronaldo up front, and he’s not running away from anybody.
"I’ve seen Manchester United come to Stamford Bridge and win comfortably last season. They need pace on the wings, and they need a player like [Edinson] Cavani to press Chelsea high up the pitch. As it stands, however, I think Chelsea will break them down comfortably."
Prediction : Chelsea 3-0 United.
Michael Owen - BetVictor
"Super Sunday sees Manchester United visit Stamford Bridge," Owen told BetVictor. "Michael Carrick got the desired reaction from his players midweek, although this is a bigger test.
"Chelsea were awesome against Juventus. They're defensively rock solid, something that you must be if you have aspirations of winning the title.
"I think Carrick will play the likes of [Donny] Van de Beek and Sancho again here, but Chelsea, for me, are just too strong. I'm siding with the Blues to take all three points."
Prediction : Chelsea 3-1 United.
