The Northern Ireland boss signed a new four-year contract with the Irish Football Association in February 2018 just weeks after being sounded out by the SFA who wanted him to replace Gordon Strachan as Scotland manager.
His deal, worth in the region of £700,000 per year, runs until 2024.
O'Neill has won major plaudits for taking Northern Ireland to the last 16 at Euro 2016, their first major tournament since 1986.
