Ryanair boss Michael O'Leary has sold a whopping 31 racehorses for close to €500,000.
O'Leary made the shock revelation in May that he would no longer be buying anymore horses with the aim of winding down his racing operation in five years.
And many of his stars found new homes today after they were sold at Goffs UK September Sale.
The biggest sale saw A Toi Phil, a winner for Gordon Elliott at Listowel last week, sell for €79,000.
Others to go under the hammer were 2018 Cheltenham Festival winner Blow by Blow (€9,000) and three-time Grade 1 winner Valseur Lido (€30,500).
O'Leary's Gigginstown House Stud, which he runs along with his brother Eddie, were responsible for 31 horses changing hands for proceeds of just over €427,000.
The airline supremo has been one of the biggest and most successful owners after pumping tens of millions into jump racing for the past few decades.
But his latest move shows he was deadly serious when he told of his plans this summer to get out of racehorse ownership.
The 58-year-old admitted in July that going 'cold turkey' from the sales ring has been a struggle.
He said: "A few weeks ago the Land Rovers Sale was on and I had to throw the catalogue in the bin.
"It's like gambling or Alcoholics Anonymous, you have to stay out of the pub so you don't drink.
"It's very difficult to go cold turkey and say, 'No, that's it, but that is it from a purchasing point of view."
Instead O'Leary wants to be with his four teenage children before they grow older and tire of their famous father.
He told the Racing Post: "People keep saying there must be some secret story as to why I'm winding down the jumpers. There isn't.
"My first kid has gone to boarding school this year and I'll have two there next year. They get out one day a week, which is a Sunday, which also happens to be the only day of the week for the main Irish jumps racing."
