Not too many changes this week. There wasn’t any movement in the top tier of teams other than Thornton and Homewood-Flossmoor flipping a bit. It’s the calm before this week’s storm. Things could look very different next Sunday.
Things remain muddy in the third tier of teams. There are a lot of one to three loss squads without much to distinguish them from each other.
New additions
Bolingbrook (15-4): One week out and the Raiders are back. What a week it was too, they knocked off Marian Catholic, Romeoville and Lincoln-Way East.
Dropping out
Lincoln-Way East (12-3): The Griffins jumped into the rankings after beating Corliss to win the Effingham Holiday Tournament. Truthfully they’ve probably only held on this long because so few teams have really stepped up to earn a place over the last month.
