The semifinal games were all pretty lousy. No close ones or fun finishes. The results did set things up for what should be excellent title games.
Later this week we will preview the championship games involving local teams. It is also time to start rolling out the season awards. The All-Public League team, All-Area team and Sun-Times Player of the Year will be revealed this week.
Only one “new” addition this week. Maine South is in at No. 25 and Coal City drops out after the loss to Richmond-Burton.
