Michael McIntyre wants to reunite expats with their families for a Christmas special

With his hilarious observations of life and frantically floppy hair, Michael McIntyre is one of Britain’s best loved comedians.

In recent years, the stand-up has crossed over into the mainstream and now has his own prime time show on BBC One.

Michael McIntyre’s Big Show has proven very popular, the last series attracting an average of just under eight million viewers.

The series also has a special festive episode which airs on December 25 and consists of celebrities, Christmas-themed games, and, occasionally, unsuspecting members of the public.

This year the show is looking to reunite family members who have not seen each other for some time.

A post on the comic’s Facebook page says: “Michael McIntyre’s Big Show is looking for expats in Australia who would be interested in coming home to reunite with their loved ones for a Christmas special.

“Perhaps you haven’t seen your relatives for some time or maybe your parents haven’t met their grandchildren.”

Though a Christmas special, the show will be filmed in November - so if you fit the bill, you need to be sharpish.
