Michael McIntyre’s The Wheel sparked utter commotion on social media after Saturday night’s emotional episode.
Teddy, a medical student, left fans of the brand-new quiz show sobbing after she walked away with a massive cash prize.
The thrilling BBC One show sees celebrities help out contestants with general knowledge questions in a bid to win some cash.
And the latest selection of celebrity "experts" included the likes of Myleene Klass and Joe Sugg – just to name a few.
As soon as contestant Teddy appeared on screen in the latest episode, viewers fell instantly in love with the hard-working student.
Opening up about working on the frontline since the UK went into its first lockdown last March, Teddy admitted that it’s been an incredibly tough year for her.
The loveable quizzer went on to admit that winning a huge cash prize would change her life and insisted that she was so grateful to have been picked to compete in the brand-new show.
Luckily for Teddy, she managed to make it to the very end and ended up walking away with a whopping £31,000 pounds.
She immediately burst into tears, and the audience, as well as the celebrity experts soon erupted into applause for the deserving winner.
Wiping the tears from her eyes, Teddy said: “I’m so happy. I didn’t want to cry but this will change my life.”
Emotional viewers immediately flocked to Twitter to gush over the warm contestant.
“Teddy is the sweetest person ever! She deserves this so much,” wrote one user.
“Omg, I’m sobbing watching The Wheel. Teddy is an absolute Gem!” another echoed.
A third penned: “Love Teddys so much and I have never seen a more deserving winner. She’s had a horrible year and she needs this more than anyone else.”
Meanwhile, a third shared: “This has just given me hope again that there is some good in the world. Yes Teddy!”.
