Stars like Harry Redknapp and Nick Grimshaw are isolating after a coronavirus outbreak on the set of hit BBC show The Wheel.
Hosted by Michael McIntyre, the programme massive guilty pleasure with millions of viewers tuning in week after week to see an eclectic mix all aiming to help members of the public win big at the spin of a wheel.
In January it was confirmed that, after proving a Saturday night ratings winner for the BBC and landing its own Christmas special, The Wheel would be back for a second series.
But filming on that has now been disrupted after a crew member tested positive for Covid-19, forcing football manager and I'm A Celebrity champion Harry, 74, to cancel a gig after he came in contact with the person in question.
Another celebrity impacted by the Covid outbreak is Radio 1 host Nick Grimshaw, who is recording his daily show from his own home all week, despite testing negative for the virus.
An insider told The Sun: "Although The Wheel was filmed as safely as possible, one person working on the show did test positive for Covid – meaning everything ground to a halt.
“It was a bit of a nightmare, as obviously those who’d been in direct contact with the person had to then go into isolation to ensure they protected others."
Other celebrities believed to have been involved in filming include Angela Scanlon, who was been hosting The One Show this week and Carol Vorderman, who has yet to take to social media to reveal if she has been isolating.
The crew member who tested positive is reported to have been working backstage, meaning they only came in contact with a small number of people.
In a statement given to the press, a spokesperson for The Wheel said: "We can confirm an individual has tested positive for COVID.
“We have and will continue to follow strict government guidelines to ensure the safety of all on the production, the filming schedule of which is unaffected.”
