Michael Keane took time out of his holiday to give a group of Everton fans a memorable day on Friday.
Many Blues stars are still on holiday following their international commitments immediately after the end of the 2018/19 term, with Keane joining up with England's squad for the Nations League.
The 26-year-old is now spending some down-time in Los Angeles before returning to Finch Farm for the first day of Everton's pre-season training, which is expected to be July 1.
But the defender took some time away from relaxing to meet a group of Evertonians based in California after they sent him a message on Instagram.
The Southern California Everton group of supporters then met up with Keane on very short notice.
George Hakopian, who helped organise the impromptu meeting, told the ECHO: "We normally jokingly tag or DM players when they’re in Los Angeles and ask if they’d like to hang out with us. Victor Anichebe came to one of our meet ups two seasons ago through it.
It’s not often a professional footballer would take time out of their break and willingly meet up with fans of his team. But that’s what makes @Everton so special. Truly the People’s Club. Thank you @michaelkeane04 for giving @SoCalEverton such an amazing memory. pic.twitter.com/v8ZPmqMzt2

"So I found out Michael was here and got on Instagram and asked if he’d like us to show him around. I don’t usually think anything of it but this time he actually responded and was incredibly kind and willing to meet us.
"We were together for about an hour. It was very much quick planning. He said he had some open time and asked if we’d be able to meet then. I sort of quickly posted to everyone to meet and whoever could, got there.
"In fact he actually changed up his plans a bit just to work with us and our timing. Which was the coolest thing. He actively made it happen."
A number of the supporters shared pictures of their experience with Keane following the event and they all had heartfelt messages for the Everton defender after his latest good deed.

Big Mick Kegger going above and beyond taking time out of his holiday to meet a few of the LA Evertonians. Can’t think of many players that would do that in today’s game and also be so personable at the same time. Good luck this season @michaelkeane04 Up the toffees! @Everton pic.twitter.com/9rwCMJS4Tm
