Michael Keane returns as Frank Lampard names Everton team to take on Crystal Palace

Michael Keane returns for Everton and is Frank Lampard's only change for the crucial game with Crystal Palace. Keane, who missed Sunday's defeat to Brentford through illness, replaces the suspended Jarrad Branthwaite.

Andre Gomes retains his starting place alongside Abdoulaye Doucoure, with Anthony Gordon and the two goalscorers against Brentford, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison, also set to start.

Alex Iwobi makes it into the starting eleven - meaning the only question is whether he will operate from midfield or slot in as a right wing back, as has been the case in recent weeks.

Donny van de Beek and Ben Godfrey, both long term absences, make the bench as expected after Lampard revealed they would be in the squad on Wednesday.

For the away side, Conor Gallagher is not in the starting eleven, with Jack Butland continuing in goal as Vicente Guaita is also named among the subs.

Everton: Pickford, Coleman, Keane, Holgate, Mykolenko, Iwobi, Doucoure, Gomes, Gordon, Richarlison, Calvert-Lewin.

Subs: Begovic, Kenny, Allan, Gray, Godfrey, Davies, Van de Beek, Alli, Welch.

Palace: Butland, Clyne, Guehi, Andersen, Mitchell, Hughes, Schlupp, Eze, Ayew, Mateta, Zaha.

Subs: Guaita, Ward, Milivojevic, Kouyaté, Gallagher, Edouard, Benteke, Kelly, Rak-Sakyi.
