Michael Jackson 's ex-girlfriend Tatum O'Neal has confessed she's not surprised by the horrific allegations of child sex abuse made against the pop superstar.
The actress was the late King of Pop's childhood sweetheart, but she has now declared it's "hard not to believe those boys".
During an appearance on Good Morning Britain today, Tatum, 55, explained she was struggling to discount the allegations made by James Safechuck and Wade Robson in shock doc Leaving Neverland.
She said: "It's hard not to believe those boys...
"I didn't see anything myself..."
The movie star went on to add that she's not disturbed by the claims as she's convinced there's plenty of murky secrets in Hollywood.
She explained: "No it doesn't sicken me - there are so many disgusting things in Hollywood now beginning to be uncovered slowly."
Tatum struck up a friendship with Jacko when she was 12 and he was 17, and she later revealed that he wanted a more intimate relationship - but she wasn't ready.
In her 2004 autobiography A Paper Life in 2004, she claimed Jackson attempted to take their relationship to the next level fairly early.
The actress wrote: “I was just 12 and not at all ready for a real-life encounter...
"Michael, who was sweating profusely, seemed as intimidated as I was.
"He jumped up nervously and said, ‘Uh … gotta go.’"
She previously said of Jackson in a 1995 interview with Vibe that he was a "shy" young man and "one of the nicest, most innocent people I've ever met”.
She described the relationship as “a really wonderful friendship” and they would dance and “talk on the phone all the time.”
Jackson spoke about the romance in 2001, saying: “I was, like, in heaven. It was the most magical thing."
