The winners of BBC1’s The Voice have a habit of ending up in the category marked “where are they now?” But BBC News had some reassuring words about the career of last year’s winner ahead of the talent show’s return to BBC1 for its fourth series on Saturday. “If you’re thinking what happened to last year’s winner, Jermaine Jackson, well, he’ll be releasing his debut album this year,” said the BBC (about 50 seconds into the video link above). It’s been a while since Michael Jackson’s brother and former member of the Jackson Five, Jermaine, made his recording debut. The Voice winner Jermain Jackman, on the other hand, will release his eponymous album later this year, having reached number 39 on the iTunes chart with his cover of And I am Telling You I’m Not Going. And I’m telling you I’m not Jermaine Jackson.
