Michael Edwards has been nominated for Sporting Director of the Year by GlobeSoccer after his impressive work at Liverpool.
The Reds chief transfer guru has been showered with praise for his work in the transfer market which has helped transform their squad.
In four years, Liverpool have been turned into title contenders and champions of Europe, with a complete rebuild of their squad thanks to Edwards and Jurgen Klopp.

The additions of Virgil van Dijk and Alisson Becker, in particular, have earned the Reds' recruitment staff a lot of praise and recognintion as they went on to win the Champions League last season.
But for Manchester City, Liverpool's 97-point haul should have earned them a first Premier League title too.
However, that hasn't stopped Edwards, Klopp or any of the Liverpool stars receiving the recognition they deserve after being named on the Globe Soccer 2019 nominee list.
Edwards is up for Sporting Director of the year, alongside Barcelona's Eric Abidal, Andrea Berta of Atletico Madrid, Igil Tare of Lazio and Marc Overmars at Ajax.
The 11th Edition of the Globe Soccer Awards will be held on 29 of December 2019 where the winner of the five-man shortlist will be revealed.
Klopp has also been nominated for Coach of the Year, the only Premier League manager on the shortlist, while Van Dijk and Alisson will go head to head for Men's Player of the Year alongside Sadio Mane, Bernardo Silva and, of course, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
