Mohamed Salah is in the form of his life but talks over a contract extension at Liverpool rumble on.
The winger has 18 months left on his current deal but has yet to agree fresh terms amid reports he wants to be the highest-paid player at the club.
There's no need to hit the panic button yet, however.
The Reds are confident they can tie him down to a long-term deal after he previously stated he wanted to retire at Anfield.
Jurgen Klopp played down the situation and insists these things "take time".
He said this week: "We're talking - and extending the contract for a player like Mo is not one where you meet for a cup of tea and find an agreement in the afternoon.
"Mo is fine, I'm fine. What we all want is clear. Things like this take time. I think what we all want is clear things. It needs time, that is it."

Would Christopher Nkunku be a good replacement for Mohamed Salah if he were to leave Liverpool? Comment below
Salah is arguably the best player in world football at the moment with his seventh-place finish in the Ballon d'Or rankings the other week looking well wide of the mark.
Salah has already scored 20 goals so far this season, 13 in the Premier League, after his emphatic close-range finish against AC Milan in the Champions League as Liverpool's 2-1 win at the San Siro made them the first-ever English team to win six out of their six group stage games.
Liverpool fans will not want to entertain the possibility that Salah will leave Merseyside, but the club will need to consider that possibility - they should have a contingency plan.
If the Egyptian still hasn't penned an extension by next summer, the Reds could look to cash in on their star man to avoid him entering the final year of his contract which would increase his chances of leaving as a free agent in 2023.
It would be a near-impossible task to replace Salah, but Michael Edwards might be forced to do just that - potentially his last act before stepping down as sporting director.
One player who fits the bill is RB Leipzig forward Christopher Nkunku, who has been linked with a move to the Premier League in recent weeks.
Ralf Rangnick is reportedly looking to reunite with his former player at Manchester United as the Old Trafford interim boss looks to add reinforcements in January.

Nkunku comes through the Paris Saint-Germain ranks but was unable to force his way into their star-studded side. He moved to Germany in 2019 and has not looked back, registering 26 goals and 36 assists in just 105 appearances since then.
And the Liverpool Echo claims that the 24-year-old is the closest statistical match to Salah across Germany, England, Italy, Spain and France this season - and Edward's close relationship with Leipzig chiefs could give them the edge in the race for his signature.

The Reds have already successfully brokered deals with Leipzig for Naby Keita and Ibrahima Konate in recent years.
Nkunku might not be a Salah's level just yet but he has plenty of room to improve.
Even if Salah stays at Liverpool beyond his current contract, there is no reason why Klopp's men shouldn't take a serious look at the Frenchman as someone to invest in for the future.
