Michael Eavis and Friends at Glastonbury's Avalon Stage - review and setlist

Glastonbury's founder Michael Eavis is no stranger to performing himself at the festival.

In 2010, the 83-year-old dairy farmer joined Stevie Wonder to celebrate Glastonbury's 40th anniversary.

Six years later, he also performed alongside rock band Coldplay to sing a rendition of Frank Sinatra's My Way . He also has a history of performing karaoke on the Thursdays in recent years.

This year he performed alongside his band Michael Eavis and Friends, and even sang a duet with daughter Emily.

Eavis then kept the momentum of the show going by bringing daughter Emily onto the stage for a duet of Something Stupid and ultimately finished with a crowd-pleasing rendition of Suspicious Minds.

It was a short gig, lasting just around half an hour or so, but the farmer proved he's more than worthy of the title of "Godfather of festival fun".

He's also come a far way since his slightly awkward, out of tune duet with Stevie Wonder back in 2010.

Michael Eavis is scheduled to speak on the Acoustic Stage with his ‘Michael Eavis…..Explains All’ slot on Sunday (June 30).
