Michael Duffy is in a race against time to play in Dundalk's Champions League clash in Latvia on Wednesday.
The star winger's partner is due a baby and Duffy had to stay behind in Ireland this morning as team-mates flew to Riga.
Duffy was due to depart with them on the club's 11.00am chartered flight - until he got a call at Dublin airport.
And tonight in the Latvian capital, Dundalk chiefs are trying to determine if it is feasible to fly the ace over ahead of Wednesday's 5.30pm kickoff.
Dundalk were held 0-0 at home last week going into this deciding game against Riga FC.
