Michael Douglas has revealed that he is struggling with his short-term memory and currently researching what the cause might be.
The 76-year-old actor, who is married to actress Catherine Zeta-Jones, admitted that an element of 'couch potato-ing' throughout the lockdown hasn't helped either.
Speaking to AARP, the Fatal Attraction star suggested that he had always assumed his memory loss had been linked to marijuana use, but now he isn't so sure.
It was also during his interview that the dad of three vowed to continue working, as it 'keeps you sharp'.
"During this Covid-19 period, doing much more couch potato–ing, I have been shocked by the reduction of my stamina," he said when asked about his thoughts on growing older.

"And my long-term memory is fine, but my short-term memory is not. I used to blame it on pot."
The actor added: "But I’ve got some friends who’ve been smoking as long as I have and have fabulous memories, so I don’t think that’s the issue. I’m researching it."
Douglas has been very open about his marijuana use in the past and once reflected upon how he'd become friends with Danny DeVito as a result.

The actor's latest concerns about his short-term memory loss came shortly after the star was spotted enjoying a rare date night with his wife at the Golden Globes earlier this month.
At the time, the duo looked sensational as they stepped out in their elegant outfits as well as black face masks.
The couple went on to present the evening's main prize for Best Motion Picture-Drama - an award that went to Chloe Zhao's Nomadland.

Earlier this week, it was also revealed that the actor had joined forces with Kathleen Turner for the latest season of The Kominsky Method.
The third and final season of the popular show is set to start on May 28.
