Michael Conlan undercard: Watch as Belfast boxer bursts into song as canvas gag comically falls flat

Tyrone McKenna just loves bursting into song. And if there's a crowd about then all the better.

The Belfast boxer hit the high notes once again on Thursday as part of Michael Conlan's press conference for Saturday's big fight night at the SSE Arena.

McKenna takes on Welshman Chris Jenkins in what promises to be a barnstormer. Both men are coming off the back of defeats and neither takes a backward step inside the ring.

Jenkins has predicted plenty of blood, sweat and drama when the pair collide. He also says it's odds-on one of them sustains a cut, given both men's previous war wounds.

McKenna, known for his entertaining antics during fight week, then burst into song, singing Edwin Starr's 'War (what is it good for)' before adding in the line, 'absolutely everything'.

The humour didn't end there, with McKenna's big fight prediction also raising plenty of laughter.

When asked how he thought the fight would go, McKenna said: "The canvas will be blue at the start, and it is going to end up red..."

As the room fell silent, the Lenadoon fighter comically explained: "With blood, obviously. In case you didn't get that!"
