Belfast duo Carl Frampton and Michael Conlan will fight on the same bill at BT Sport Studios on Saturday, August 15 it has been confirmed.
Frampton, 33, will take on Armenian Vahram Vardanyan who has lost just once in 23 fights but has never met anyone of Frampton’s calibre.
"Finally I've got my opponent," Frampton said on his YouTube channel.
"He looks wild, raw and looks like he can punch as well. So I will need to be at my best.
"He is the exact opposite style of Jamel Herring who is my main goal for the world title. But this is a fight to keep me busy and active."
Frampton added: "My objective is Jamel Herring but I can't take my eye off this boy. If he beats me he becomes a big name overnight."
WBA and WBO Intercontinental featherweight champion Conlan will go up against the experienced Frenchman Sofiane Takoucht (35-4-1).
The card will be shown live on BT Sport.
