Michael Chandler expresses frustration with Conor McGregor’s USADA situation: ‘Where you at, boy?’

Michael Chandler’s patience with Conor McGregor appears to be wearing thin.

The coaches of Season 31 of “The Ultimate Fighter” are expected to face each other before the end of the year, but McGregor (22-6 MMA, 10-4 UFC) has yet to re-enter the USADA testing pool, which is required of the former two-division champion in order to compete.

UFC president Dana White recently said he expects McGregor to compete before the end of the year, but that was before McGregor was recently accused of sexual assault and rape following Game 4 of the NBA Finals in Miami.

Chandler (23-8 MMA, 2-3 UFC) is the opponent to share the cage with McGregor, if everything goes according to plan. However, the recent developments have left the UFC former title challenger not feeling confident about the situation.

“Alright guys, you guys have all seen the news: Conor’s not in USADA,” Chandler said in a video posted to Twitter. “One hundred and seventy-nine days left until December 16, which is supposed to be the last pay-per-view of the year. And comically, USADA shows up at my door today to add insult to injury.

“Where you at, boy?”

Chandler’s peers have taken notice of the situation, as Arman Tsarukyan called him out after his victory at UFC on ESPN 46. “It looks like his fight with McGregor is over,” Tsarukyan told reporters during the post-fight news conference.

According to the USADA online testing database, McGregor has not yet submitted a sample in 2023. Chandler appears once under the second quarter period, which is likely aside from the visit USADA paid him today.
