However earlier this year, as Whitehall points out, Monkey mentioned the former newsreader had done an interview with the Daily Mirror in which he labelled BBC3’s output as being at the “embarrassing end of drivel”, while shows such as Snog, Marry, Avoid? were dismissed as “cutting-edge tripe”.
Is Michael eating his words now? Or maybe something more chewy, as Whitehall tweeted: “Look forward to seeing him eating kangaroo bollocks with Gemma Collins from TOWIE.”
