Michael Bublé quit sharing photos on social media because he was 'being a d**k'

Michael Bublé has revealed the reason why he ditched social media and no longer shares photos from his life.

The crooner, 44, admitted he felt like he wasn't being 'present' enough with his family, and lamented the narcissism that comes with using Instagram.

Michael has also got into trouble on social media before after he caused a scandal when he posted a photo of a woman without her permission.

He was accused of 'body-shaming' the woman in the incident in 2015.

The dad-of-three recently spoke to The Daily Telegraph, and said he changed his life around when he decided to stop sharing photos of his private life.

"A lot of it was a philosophical change," he explained.

"To like wake up in the morning and check myself and go, 'Hey dude, you are a lucky man, go out there and show your kids with your actions', because most of my life was spent being a narcissistic d**k, he said.

He still has official Twitter and Instagram accounts, but they are managed by his social media team and only feature photos from his concerts and from fans at his shows.

Michael faced a huge backlash in April 2015 after he posted a photo standing in front of a woman wearing shorts, with the hashtags '#myhumps #babygotback #hungryshorts #onlyinmiami #picoftheday #beautifulbum'.

Twitter users condemned the post as "sexist" and "disgusting" and slammed Michael for posting the photo of the woman to his many followers without her permission.

Michael is father to Noah, six, Elias, four, and Vida, 19 months. In 2016, Noah was diagnosed with liver cancer hepatloblastoma.

Michael cancelled his tour to spend time with Noah while he underwent chemotherapy and radiotherapy, and brave Noah is now in remission.

Michael will soon be performing a concert in aid of the Australian bushfire relief efforts, called Fire Fight Australia, on February 16th.

He will be performing in Melbourne and streaming to the concert in Sydney, also playing are Ronan Keating, Adam Lambert, Alice Cooper, and Olivia Newton-John.
