Rangers first team coach Michael Beale insists the Ibrox side can't take their eye off the games that come after this Sunday's derby.
Nothing more than pride and an unbeaten league record is at stake in the Ibrox clash with Celtic even if these occasions are never dead rubbers.
But he's also insistent that the Premiership winners build up some more momentum in the two games that conclude the season in a trip to Livingston and trophy day against Aberdeen.
The Tony Macaroni is a venue where Rangers have struggled at times and then the Dons will look to spoil the party on May 15.
Beale is adamant a strong finish is necessary to set up next season's title defence as he told Rangers TV: "As a team, it's important we do it. Also, individuals who will get opportunities within that and want to finish their season well.
"We've got some players going off to the Euros also, so it's important for some people the season doesn't end, it just extends into that.
"To go 35 games unbeaten in any league campaign is unique. And with three games to go, certainly...
"There's a derby in there but there's also a couple of opponents after that derby that enjoy ruffling our feathers a little bit.
"So it's important we stay strong and play well in all three games.
"Certainly, as a staff, we won't be coming off because we want to end the season well because we do think it has a bearing on what you're thinking about over the summer going into the new season."
