Michael Beale has revealed his ultimate goal is to become a manager - but he's in no rush to leave Rangers just yet.
The highly-rated Ibrox coach has become a fans' favourite under boss Steven Gerrard and has been credited with a major role in the club's turnaround since 2018.
That culminated in sweeping to an unbeaten Premiership title but Beale insists he's just getting started.
The 40-year-old has already worked abroad with Sao Paolo and admits his ambition is to establish himself as a boss overseas.
He told the Training Ground Guru podcast: “It’s one hundred percent the aim, I don’t have a timeline because I am very happy.
“I feel, under Steven, like I’m a head coach because he gives the staff so much, we all coach the team.
“So I don’t feel the need or the urge to rush off and be a manager.
“I have lots of aims, one is to be a manager in the UK but ultimately be a manager overseas because that is my dream.
“I feel like I am only about five percent into my career, I feel it has only really started in the last two of three years.
“One hundred percent I want to be a manager one day but I have a very unique idea of where I want to be a manager.
“I don’t just want to be a manager in the Football League, I want to be a manager within Europe and in different countries.
“I am just exploring and learning with this game.”
