New Rangers manager Michael Beale has added to his backroom staff by taking Jack Ade from Liverpool.
Beale was announced as Rangers' new head coach on Monday following the sacking of Giovanni van Bronckhorst. A former Reds academy coach himself, he had been part of the staff at Ibrox under the management of Steven Gerrard - the pair met while working within Liverpool's academy set up - before following the England international to Aston Villa and then taking his first managerial role at Queens Park Rangers in June.
The 42-year-old has been given the freedom to add his choice of staff behind-the-scenes, the latest of which is Ade. After stints at Newcastle, Tottenham, Watford and Barnet in the past, Ade arrived at Liverpool in 2016 under the role of elite fitness development and under-21 fitness coach.

An accredited sports scientist with the British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (BASES) and an accredited strength and conditioning coach with the United Kingdom strength and conditioning association (UKSCA), Ade has been at the centre of Liverpool's sports science department and has seen his high intensity position-specific training drills recommended in a recent FIFA Physical Analysis Report.
Announcing the appointment on the Rangers website, a statement read: "Rangers have made a further addition to the first-team support staff with Jack Ade joining from Liverpool as Head of Performance. Ade had been performing the role of head of elite fitness development and Under-21 fitness coach at the Merseyside club, while he also has previous experience at Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur, Barnet and Watford.
"He joins assistant coaches, Damian Matthew and Neil Banfield, and first-team development coach, Harry Watling who have been appointed to Michael Beale’s staff thus far."
Ade has already been spotted during the Scottish side's first-team training this morning.
