Michael Beale 'knows' Rangers contract decisions from Kent and Morelos as brutal Ibrox exodus reality mapped out

Pundit Tam McManus reckons Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos have already told Michael Beale they won't renew their Rangers contracts.

And the former Hibs striker reckons that is just the start of the mass Ibrox exodus with at least 10 players set to leave the club as part of the Londoner's rebuild. James Sands saw his loan deal from New York City FC ripped up early and has now return to Major League Soccer, but he looks to have kickstarted the revamp in the wake of the Viaplay Cup defeat to Celtic with a host of Rangers' talent set to become free agents at the end of the campaign.

Kent and Morelos the two most valuable assets that could leave for nothing, but Ryan Jack, Scott Arfield, Steven Davis, Allan McGregor and Filip Helander are also out of contract this summer with Beale confirming no players have been offered new terms at this stage. Bayern Munich loanee Malik Tillman could also return to his parent club, but the Light Blues' could decide to trigger an option to buy in the 20-year-old's deal.

McManus reckons that a "major clear out" is on the cards - with Kent and Morelos leading the big names going through the exit door. He told the PLZ Football Show: “I think Rangers will get rid of 10, 12 players this summer.

"I think they will have a clear out. I think in terms of Kent and Morelos, I think they have said they will take their chances as a free agent. I think the other ones are all in the balance - so there is seven right away.

"All of them could leave the club in the summer. Tillman could go back to Bayern Munich, there is eight. You only need to get rid of two or three (more) and it’s a major clear out.”
